Justin Bieber Cameo in Open Skit at the 2012 Oscars - Video

Justin Bieber made a surprise cameo last night during the opening skit of the 2012 Oscars. Justin helped host Billy Crystal tap into the 18-24 year old demographic, in true Bieber style! 

After the show Justin tweeted, "and a BIG SHOUTOUT to Billy Crystal. Thanks for letting be a part of the show and you killed it tonight. #muchlove"

Billy Crystal also seemed to be very impressed with Justin. According to Perez Hilton, Billy complimented Justin's comedic skills: 

"Justin Bieber was great. He’s a really funny guy and has a wonderful sense of humor. Now if I could only have as many Twitter fans as he does!"

Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen Meet in the Studio

Justin Bieber's new protege, Carly Rae Jepsen, tweeted this photo of herself and Justin last night. The two met for the first time at the studio and Carly seemed impressed with her new mentor:

"I finally got to say thank you in person. Ps @kukharrell @justinbieber and I may have worked on a little song tonight."

Later, she added, "My first impression of @justinbieber : he is passionate, talented, charming and did I mention talented? He writes hits like its easy. Wow. "

Justin seemed equally pleased with this new artist tweeting, "my first impression of @carlyraejepsen - kind, talented, and the real deal. this is going to be fun. welcome to the team....and oh yeah...we might have done a little song. :)"

Is Justin Bieber Bringing Back His Signature Hairstyle?

Justin Bieber was seen with friends visiting the Calabasas Commons shopping center in Calabasas, CA on Thursday (February 23, 2012). With some frozen yogurt in hand, Justin looked cool sporting his black jean shorts and black tee. But the real attention grabber is his hair! Justin is still rocking the darker locks, but it looks like he is also bringing back the swoosh hairstyle he popularized a few years ago.

Justin Bieber Threaten's to Sue "Joustin Beaver" Game

According to TMZ, Justin Bieber's legal team is threatening to sue the company who makes the phone game app "Joustin Beaver." In the game, the user is floating down a river defending "Joustin" from "phot-hogs." As you can see from the photo above, the game character does look very similar to Bieber. Bieber's lawyers have reportedly sent the company, RC3, a cease and desist letter, as well as asked for the game to be removed from iTunes. They also want an account of all revenues collected by RC3. 

RC3 has stated that they will continue to sell the game. They claim its a parody and therefore protected by First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Justin Bieber and Far East Movement to Make a "Smash" Hit

It looks like Justin Bieber may be hitting dance floors everywhere soon. According to producer RedOne, Justin has recently worked on a new collaboration with the group Far East Movement.

"The Bieber thing, I don't know if I'm allowed to mention it right now, but ... I did a few songs with Far East Movement, and one of the songs ... to me, it's a smash," RedOne told MTV News. "And Justin sang the chorus. It's a really good song, and I think people are gonna dance like crazy to it."

Justin himself even hinted at the collaboration, tweeting "other than my album i did some cameos lately. gonna make em dance."

RedOne went on to talk about working with Justin. "He's very positive and he's an amazing singer," he said. "Amazing everything! He's Justin Bieber. He's a sensation. I think he's becoming a man with his voice. He's an incredible singer. So it's not just the dance or the looks or the 'Justin' factor. He's a real singer musician ... He's a real artist."

Finally, RedOne hinted that he might make an appearance on Justin's upcoming album Believe."We're trying to figure out some smashes together for his album," he added.

Justin Bieber reached out to his fans once again. 13 year old Trinity Petit was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and for her birthday she wished for a special message from Justin himself. Her friends and family pulled through, contacting the star via Facebook and Twitter. Justin responded and sent young Trinity this message yesterday, February 18th.

6 year old Avalanna Routh is a huge Justin Bieber fan! Sadly, she has a fast moving form of cancer and in an attempt to allow her to live life to the fullest, she recently "married" Justin Bieber. Thanks to a Jimmy Fund event, Avalanna married Bieber in a mock wedding, complete with bouquet and wedding album. Now her parents are hoping to arrange a meeting with the groom, Bieber himself. How sweet!

Justin Bieber Gets Sneek Peak of His New Wax Figure

Justin Bieber has had several wax figures made of himself around the world since he came to fame. The latest will be revealed at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood for Justin's 18th birthday and it looks like Justin has had an advanced look at the new likeness. A source said that Justin and two friends took a tour of the museum on Tuesday (February 7th, 2011). Not only did they check out all the celebrity wax figures, they also went behind the scenes to the workshop were the sculptures are created. Justin had a preview of his new figure and according to the source he thought it was "very cool."

Justin Bieber Hits the Studio with Drake

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun tweeted this picture of Justin in the studio with rapper and fellow Canadian Drake. Braun added the caption "This has been a long time coming. #canadians #Believe,"  and Justin followed with a tweet of his own, hinting at the collaboration:

"you really wanna know who im going into the studio with tonight?? #bigbro #CANADA"

It was rumored a couple of months ago that Drake would be working with Justin on his new album Believe, and now we finally have proof!

It looks like Justin Bieber is going to have yet another collaborator on his upcoming album Believe. Rumor has it that singer Ke$ha will not only write a song for Bieber's album, but "would also be a part of the song in a duet capacity." So it looks like Ke$ha will contribute both lyrics and vocals to the duet.
