Justin Bieber Fans Working Tribute Song for Charity

Justin Bieber is known for encouraging his fans to give back to charity and now several Bieber fan groups and the nonprofit organizations Together We Rise and Brush Buddies are working on a new charity single.

Danny Mendoza, President/CEO of Together We Rise, told MTV, "They're all working on pieces of the video and the lyrics. Right now, they're putting together videos and thank-you's...It started with a young lady named Vivian, she runs the Justin Crew fan club and she approached it on Twitter. She approached it and she had a lot of fan support. She took it upon herself to take a leadership role, and then she contacted me because she needed some guidance. We just decided we'll help you do it. Justin Bieber had tweeted about us in the past and helped us get some recognition, so it was a thank-you to him as well. "

Mendoza went on to say he thinks Justin Bieber is aware of the group's project. "I'm almost 100 percent positive that they know...Justin Bieber inspired a lot of young people to give back. It's a thank-you for helping us and we want to give back in your honor."

Mendoza also praised Bieber's focus on charity, stating, "He definitely has the right people around him ... They made it a priority that giving back is more. I think his relationship with [his manager Scooter Braun's brother] Adam Braun and his charity [Pencils of Promise], he was able to see hands on a lot of it."

Justin Bieber Helps Increase Number of Canadian Organ Donors!

The number of registered Canadian organ donors has skyrocketed this week, and its all thanks to Justin Bieber and Hélène Campbell. Campbell started a campaign, urging fellow Candians to tweet Bieber all day long last Thursday (January 19th). Campbell, who is currently awaiting a lung transplant, was attempting to raise awareness for organ donation. Bieber responded and it looks like their campaign is starting to do some good! The Trillium Gift of Life Network has reported over 1,000 new organ donor registrations since last Thursday. Amazing!

Thursday (January 12th, 2011), Justin Bieber spilled the big news that he will be collaborating with Black Eyed Peas frontman wil.i.am on his upcoming album Believe. Justin tweeted, "@iamwill let's make a hit tomorrow!! #collab."

Justin later followed with, "studio with @iamwill - gonna make that..."

It looks like Believe is going to have an amazing list of collaborations just like Under the Mistletoe. Justin already has Drake, wil.i.am, and possibly Kanye West, who do you think will be next?

Adele Beats Justin Bieber to No. 1 Top Selling Artist of 2011...!

2011 was a big year for Justin Bieber, but it looks like his biggest competition came from British soul singer Adele! Adele came in at No. 1 2011's Top Ten selling artists, and Justin followed her at No. 2.  According to Nielsen Soundscan and Billboard's year-end report Adele sold a whopping 6,744,000 units in 2011, while Justin Bieber sold 3,393,000.

Justin may be No. 2 in sales but he is still No.1 around here!

Justin Bieber to Appear at 2012 CES International Technology Conference

Bieber fever has spread to the world of technology! Justin Bieber is scheduled to appear at the 2012 CES international technology show in Las Vegas, Nevada next week. The show runs from January 10th to the 13th and Bieber is set to unveil a new robotic toy. Other celebrities making an appearance at the show include Nicole "Snooki" of MTV's "Jersey Shore," will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, former NBA superstar Dennis Rodman, and actress Eliza Dushku.
